Katie Price thanks her fans for all of the support after documentary with son Harvey aired on television

After the success of her documentary Harvey & Me, Katie Price has thanked all of her fans and well wishers for their supportive message after it aired last week.

The mum-of-five, who recently fake tanned with daughter Princess, took to Twitter to share her appreciation after the programme was well-received by viewers.

Alongside a black and white snap with Harvey, 18, the 42 year old gushed: "A message of thanks from us both…

"We have been overwhelmed by the amount of support Harvey, myself and my family have received since Harvey & Me aired last week.

"I have been inundated with emails and stories from parents in a similar situation to myself and Harvey…

"It's been a comfort to hear I'm not alone and that many of you are experiencing the same – my team and I will continue to read through your emails and will respond in due course, so please do bare with us," Katie explained.

"Autism, online trolling and the period of transitioning that many of us…our young people are going through is something close to my heart, and I want to continue the conversation and support as many parents as possible.

"Thank you once again for all your continued support… end x."

The reality star's fans responded to the tweet with messages of support and love, and praise for how good of a mum she is to Harvey.

One follower wrote: "After watching the documentary my respect for you, @katieprice has gone up massively.

"You've raised Harvey to be a beautiful and loving young man and you can see the amount of love from both of you to each other."

A second person added: "Wishing Harvey a happy transition and a wonderful life ahead.. Good luck to you also.. as Harvey's mum you've done a fantastic job raising him and it's clear to see the love you have for each other."

Katie and Harvey's documentary followed the mother and son duo as they embarked on a mission to find him a residential college for him to move into.

Fans were left in tears after watching the programme, and praised Katie for the being the great mum she is to Harvey.
