Im A Celeb Charlenes RV drama explained including reason for not sleeping in bed

ITV I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here viewers have rumbled the real reason Charlene White is refusing to stay in the RV, after she was slammed by fans of the show.

The scenes came as the camp woke up for another day in the Australian jungle and Seann Walsh complained about his bad back after an eighth night in the hammock.

Owen Warner asked Charlene: "Is there no way you’d be comfortable sleeping in the RV?” The soap star added: "I don’t want to put any pressure on you. I’d rather sleep in a hammock than you be uncomfortable.”

Comedian Seann Walsh said in the Bush Telegraph: "I love Owen, he’s such a sweet man, coming to help Uncle Seann."

Charlene said: “I’ll try it again tonight.” Charlene later said in the Bush Telegraph: "I feel incredibly guilty about Seann’s back. But I really, really don’t want to sleep in the RV.”

On the first night Charlene complained about spiders in the room and decided to sleep outside instead.

Owen was clearly nonplussed by the decision, as he added in the Bush Telegraph: “The RV is lovely. A comfy bed, mattress, duvet, pillows… the RV is an unreal night’s sleep literally.”

Taking to Twitter, one wrote: “Why’s Charlene being dramatic about the RV god damn – oh no! a mattress! a duvet and pillow!”

A second wrote: “Think she is being very selfish not sleeping in the RV,” as a third said: “Why is Charlene being awkward about the RV they’re not locking her in there it’s literally a few days in a comfy bed.”

However, other fans believed they had figured out Charlene was reluctant to share the RV with Matt Hancock. One wrote: “The only reason Charlene is not sleeping in the RV is cos Matt Hancock is in there.”

A second asked: “What is her problem with sleeping in the RV? Does she think Matt will pounce on her?”

And a third added: “Charlene can’t hide that she can’t stand Matt Hancock, but why can’t she offer her RV bed for someone else? #ImACeleb.”

Charlene has been very vocal about her feeling towards Matt since he entered the jungle.

She wasted no time in quizzing him on why he was doing the show on his first day in the main camp.

The journalist told him: “I can imagine it would not have gone down well at all at home? You have to expect that. Because Parliament is still sitting, we’re not in recess, you know…”

The first eviction of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! is happening tonight, after friends and family of the campmates have been seen jetting into Australia this week.
