Strictly: Janette Manrara and HRVY discuss making the final
Strictly Come Dancing 2020 contestant HRVY, 21, wrapped up his stint on the BBC show with Janette Manrara, 37, last month, when the dancing duo missed out on the Glitterball trophy to Bill Bailey, 56, and Oti Mabuse, 30. He has since been spending time with his mum during lockdown, following the announcement his tour had been postponed.
Following his appearance on the show, he has been sharing supportive messages in view of his 610,000 followers.
Most recently, he wrote on the micro-blogging site: “Sending all my love to anyone that’s struggling right now, life’s pretty sad at the moment.
“I really hope that this year is good for all of us.”
Last month, the singer told fans he was taking a break from his phone ahead of the latest lockdown.

He commented: “Thinking of you all, just taking some time away from my phone, be back soon.”
HRVY followed up his post, writing: “Please please can 2021 be kind to us.”
In a further message to his fans, he commented: “We’re all in this together, these next few weeks are gonna be super tough for a lot of people, so please try to be kind and loving, now more than ever.”
The popstar was due to go on tour in April, but had to postpone his gigs due to the continuous coronavirus pandemic.
But reassuring fans it’ll be worth the wait, he added: “By the time the tour comes around, I’ll have so many new songs out and projects.
“Genuinely can’t wait to see you guys and actually finally hug you, hurry up October.”
During his stint on Strictly Come Dancing, the singer became one of the favourite pairings with Janette.
They became the first duo of the series to receive the top 30 score for their Couple’s Choice Street/Commercial dance routine to A Sky Full of Stars by Coldplay.

“2020 has been really tough, but #Strictly brought back so much joy to everyone’s homes on Saturday nights!

“It was an absolute pleasure to be in ‘boogie wonderland’ w/you all these weeks!! Love you to the moon and back my little diamond! #TeamFieryMess.”
During his time on the show, he was also romantically linked to fellow contestant Maisie Smith.
According to a production source, the duo had their first kiss together after the final.
They told The Sun: “The pair are so flirty together, and genuinely have a real laugh whenever they see one another.”
