FormerStrictly Come DancingprofessionalJames Jordanhas thanked fans for their support and offers of somewhere to stay after he revealed his family has been left homeless.
The dancer shared earlier this week that he, his wifeOlaand their baby daughter were in dire need of somewhere to live after an uncomfortable meeting with a landlord.
James, 44, and Ola, 40, had been hoping to secure a rental property but after an encounter with a “rude” landlord who “spoke down” to the couple, they were left with nowhere to stay.
Taking to Instagram on Friday though, James revealed the story thankfully has a happy ending and shared his love for the thousands of people who reached out.
Speaking to the camera, he said: "Hi guys, I hope you're well. I haven't been on here for a little while. As many of you are aware, we are currently trying to move home.
"We didn't have anywhere to go because the rental property we were gonna move into didn't work out for several reasons. We have now finally found somewhere else.
"But I wanted to come on here just to say thank you so much. I must have had 1000s upon 1000s of messages of amazing people out there offering their help offering for us to come and live with them from Ireland, Scotland everywhere, which is really, really nice.
“And I just wanted to come on here to say thank you very much,” he continued, before quipping: "And there were even the odd guys saying that they were happy to take Ola but unfortunately didn't have space for myself and Ella."
James and Ola found fame as Strictly professionals, but left the show in 2013 and 2015, respectively.
They have since each appeared on numerous reality shows, including Dancing on Ice – which James won – and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.
They welcomed their daughter Ella in 2020.
Back in June it was reported that the couple had put their five-bedroom home in Kent up for sale for £2.5million.
Revealing the full story of how they ended up homeless, James said earlier this week: “We are currently in the process of moving and need to move into rented accommodation for about six months.
“We found a rental property we liked and went this morning to meet the landlord.
"I have never been spoken to so rudely! Especially in front of Ola and Ella. It was almost like it was a setup.”
He continued: "I hope no-one out there has experienced this with a landlord. He spoke down to us from the minute I shook his hand.
"Currently homeless. Anyone want to take Ola, Ella and myself for Christmas?"
