Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde spark dating rumours after holding hands

Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde have given us hope for a bright year ahead with reports that the pair are quietly dating.

Photos have emerged of Harry, 26, and Olivia, 36, holding hands while attending his agent’s wedding at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California over the weekend.

In the images obtained by Page Six, Harry is seen holding onto a beverage in one hand and Olivia’s hand in the other. Further images published by the Mail Online show the pair arriving at Harry’s Los Angeles home carrying luggage.

An eyewitness told People of their appearance at the wedding: ‘They were in Montecito, California this weekend for a wedding. They were affectionate around their friends, held hands and looked very happy.

‘They have dated for a few weeks.’

Another insider told the Mail: ‘Olivia and Harry have become close and the pair have been spending a lot of time together in recent weeks. She has been seen visiting his home on several occasions.’

The reports come after news that Olivia had split from her longtime partner Jason Sudeikis at the beginning in 2020. The estranged couple had been together for nine years and share two children, son Otis, six, and daughter Daisy, four.

Jason, 45, proposed to Olivia in 2012 but they never made it down the aisle.

Their split is said to be amicable and they have since been pictured meeting up, appearing to be on friendly terms and sharing hugs.

A source said at the time: ‘The split happened at the beginning of the year.

‘It’s been amicable and they’ve transitioned into a great co-parenting routine. The children are the priority and the heart of the family’s relationship.’

Olivia and Harry are known to have grown close while working together on the movie Don’t Worry Darling, which she is starring in and directing.

The former OC actress recently opened up about her friendship with Harry and praised the ex One Direction singer for wearing a dress on the cover of Vogue.

Defending Harry against Candace Owens who called for ‘manly men’ to make a comeback, Olivia replied: ‘You’re pathetic.’

Olivia also contributed to Harry’s Vogue interview and said: ‘To me, he’s very modern and I hope that this brand of confidence as a male that Harry has—truly devoid of any traces of toxic masculinity—is indicative of his generation and therefore the future of the world.

‘I think he is in many ways championing that, spearheading that. It’s pretty powerful and kind of extraordinary to see someone in his position redefining what it can mean to be a man with confidence.’

The Rush actress added: ‘She [costume designer Arianne Phillips] and I did a little victory dance when we heard that we officially had Harry in the film, because we knew that he has a real appreciation for fashion and style.

‘And this movie is incredibly stylistic. It’s very heightened and opulent, and I’m really grateful that he is so enthusiastic about that element of the process—some actors just don’t care.’
