Last night, Ant McPartlin joked he was quitting I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! after fans suggested big names of stars for the next series. Ant and Dec took to Instagram after the show and asked their followers who they would like to see in camp next year.

Reading out the suggestions, Ant said: “Hold on… Taylor Swift… next year.”

As Dec laughed in the background, his co-star went on to read out further comments about big names signing up.

Ant fumed: “Right, seriously. It’s getting beyond a joke now because you’re an idiot for saying that.

“An idiot. That is all.”

Dec went on to tell Ant: “Someone’s said Ed Sheeran.”

His co-star raged: “Right, you’re a bigger idiot because he’s never going to do it.

“Taylor Swift’s not going to do it, Ed Sheeran’s not going to do it… Peter Kay is NOT going to do it. He’s just announced a tour, you idiot!”

After somebody else suggested that Prince Harry would be good as a campmate, he jokingly fumed: “Right, you’re really winding me up now.

“If this is just going to be you saying a load of famous people’s names who are never going to do the jungle then I’m walking.”

A shocked Dec asked: “Off the show?”

Ant replied: “Not just off Instagram Live, off the show!”

The presenters went on to discuss the latest Bushtucker Trial which saw Chris Moyles, Boy George and Babatunde Aleshe struggle to earn stars.

Chris will take on tonight’s challenge after being chosen by the public.

This year’s biggest signing was Culture Club singer Boy George with a reported fee of £500,000.

The 61-year-old previously threw shade at ever signing up for the jungle, but this year decided to take the plunge.

On the pair’s show earlier this year, he said he’d sign up for if they do a vegan version.

Matt Hancock is also said to have been offered £400,000 for his stint.

The MP is this year’s most controversial signing following his breach of social distancing rules last year.

He has since told campmates he is wanting to be forgiven by the public.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
