Amanda Owen’s stepdaughter Rosie, 34, has opened up about her father’s relationship with the Channel 5 star in a candid interview about her childhood. Clive Owen’s eldest daughter, who he shares with his first wife, also spoke about the breakdown of her parents’ marriage.

When her mum and dad separated in 1995, Rosie, then nine, and her 11-year-old brother went to live with their mother and would spend weekends with their dad.

They were a 25 minute drive from Clive’s home, Ravenseat farm, in Upper Swaledale.

The couple had been married for 13 years before going their separate ways.

Later that year, when Rosie visited her father, then 42, she discovered that he was in love with 21-year-old shepherdess Amanda.

According to The Sun, the moment Rosie realised this was when she found a Valentine’s Day card signed “Love, Amanda” in his car.

A short while later she met her dad’s future wife for the first time during one of her weekend visits.

Amanda made a good first impression on the youngster.

Rosie told the publication that she thought: “‘Wow, she’s beautiful’. She was quite pleasant, said hello and off she went.”

Amanda and Clive, stars of Our Yorkshire Farm, married in 2000 when Rosie was 13.

Over the years she stopped visiting the farm and has since said that her dad never asked why her visits had ceased.

“It feels like my childhood disappeared. My childhood home has been completely taken away from me,” she went on to say.

Rosie is now a mum herself and has three children – a 13-year-old son, and two daughters, aged six and 16.

Clive and Amanda went on to have nine children together.

They are parents to three boys and six girls, who range in age from four to 20.

The family appeared in numerous programmes about the countryside before landing their own TV series in 2018.

Viewers of their documentary can follow their seemingly idyllic life on their farm in the Yorkshire dales.

In addition to working on the farm and starring in her own show, Amanda has written several books.

She also has an impressive following on social media.

394,000 people follow her on Instagram and enjoy her almost daily updates on her work and family life.

Rosie said that it’s difficult to see the family living a “wonderful life” that she is not really a part of.

The mum-of-three claimed that she only has a proper relationship with Clive and Amanda’s eldest daughter.
