Audi S5 stalls, smokes at Arkansas police officer

We’ve previously laughed at instances of suspects passing out while fleeing police, usually because they were in a lighter vehicle and in an area with lots of street lights. Another reason is that drivers in slow-moving cars seem to think the dimness makes them invisible, but that’s ineffective when the police can hold on. But the guy in the black Audi S5 didn’t suffer those embarrassing blunders, which allowed him to completely roast an Arkansas police officer during a thrilling chase.

It was obvious from the start that the Audi driver was just toying with the police. After all, the guy was rolling quickly over the already darkened, clearly marked ASP cruiser, knowing full well that it would get his target’s full attention.
Of course, the soldier took the bait. After all, he was set up to chase not only speeders but also people who were reckless on Arkansas roads, and driving around in a black vehicle with the lights off was certainly reckless.
The Audi driver temporarily made things easier for the soldier. He signaled before changing lanes. Even though sports sedans can go faster, this guy still manages over 100 mph. The soldiers sensed their own weakness and pursued them vigorously.
But then, the suspect drove his pitch-black S5, deftly maneuvering through a group of three cars in two lanes, demonstrating his vehicle’s all-wheel drive and superior handling. The officer took a different approach and flexed his law enforcement muscles by staying in the left lane and insisting that vehicles in that lane move to the right as required.
The driver in the GMC Yukon drove slowly, almost reluctantly. This is where some people have a real problem with this pursuit. After all, it’s almost like the Yukon drivers are aiding and abetting, or so they seem to think.
While some believe that without GMC the police would have grabbed the Audi and thrown it into a pit, we beg to differ. The suspect was obviously playing tricks on the police and was ready to attack them at any time. The ASP cruisers had no chance of keeping up, which is exactly what happened after the Yukon incident.
