Carnival Cruise Line Brand Ambassador Shares New Year’s Resolutions

Carnival Cruise Line brand ambassador John Heald has a special sense of humor.
Many of his more than 500,000 fans appreciate this, but there are a few who like to complain every time he makes a joke.
In some cases, people simply couldn’t relate to Heard’s often dry British humor. However, on New Year’s Day, Heard decided to let her guard down and share a completely silly post.

“Yesterday, I talked about how I could never achieve my New Year’s resolutions,” he wrote. “I think and rethink this because I’ve actually been able to stop myself from appearing on the cover of Men’s Health magazine wearing nothing but a pair of designer underwear stuffed with root vegetables. I would say it’s been difficult though and requires a lot of Self-discipline, but I did it.
“I’m sure that for anyone who has read this and posed for Men’s Health, or for anyone who has read this and posed for Vogue in a G-string bikini holding a fluffy Shitzu puppy, To the posturing ladies, sorry, but you gave in and I didn’t, so that’s it.
This was a prelude to Heald sharing a list of New Year’s resolutions that he hopes all cruisers will adopt.

I also hope that in the new year, many of you reading this will do the following as part of your New Year’s resolutions:
- I wouldn’t try to get into the elevator without getting everyone off first.
- I will not let what other guests wear affect my cruise experience and enjoyment.
- If I ask for something, I might say “please” or “thank you.”
- If I’m not happy with something on the ship, I tell someone on the ship so that the crew can do what they do best, which is care and try to solve the problem.
- I will realize that John Heard’s humor is not for everyone. He might make some people laugh, and to others he might be as funny as an overflowing toilet. But if I didn’t like something he wrote, I wouldn’t be angry and write a letter to the Beard brothers demanding that he be fired immediately and sent to Cleveland, Ohio, and the Yak and Sunset Healing Clinic for a jaded brand ambassador .
Bearded is Hield’s term for the Fiesta leadership team, and Cleveland often appears in brand ambassador quips.

Carnival passengers react to Heard’s post
Reactions to Heard’s post have been generally positive.
“Good day, John Heard. I’ve seen some guests whose determination seemed to be just the opposite,” wrote Khalil Moore-Lux. “It’s a shame that they don’t have fun while cruising. I doubt they get to enjoy life elsewhere either. I’m determined to continue to enjoy life, especially on a Carnival cruise. Happy New Year. “
Ellie Hooker thanks Heard for all she does: “Good morning (it’s afternoon now). I love your sense of humor and I’m glad you’re helping so many people on Facebook and I agree with all of your resolutions. I look forward to it As I read your posts every morning, I wish you and your family many blessings this New Year.
Many commenters supported the idea of the resolution.
“Good morning, John. Happy New Year,” Robert E. Thiel added. “Your determination will prevent some of the stress that some cruisers experience. I cruise to be pampered. If you put compassion into everyone’s heart while boarding, everyone will have a great time.”

Nancy Busma Bodine agrees with Heard.
“Good morning, John. Happy New Year. I’m reading what you said and I have to laugh because every one of them is simple courtesy. Unless telling someone a problem means they can’t ask for something for free. Keep your sense of humor, Because I love hugs and cheers,” she wrote.
