Brandy Granville Tired of pretending to be OK in terms of her overall health and wellness.
“I’ve been faked it all the time. My best friend worked in the ICU for 2 weeks and it got better and better. My face was worse than ever. It really melted. When the Dr. Cedars took me on IV antibiotics and fungal drugs, I looked better, I looked normal, but I couldn’t afford it. I was forced to see the Dr. outside of insurance because there was no clue to the Dr. Kaiser’s.”
In December 2024, Glanville claimed she spent $70,000 on what she called a facial parasite.
“Honestly, I have a lot of doctors, I’ve gone through a lot of tests…I did work for $10,000.” “I did every test in the sun… they were like, ‘This could be a parasite.’ That’s new.”
Glanville believes she signed up for Paradise while filming for Bravo.
“We sat for hours with our food, some of it was meat, in Morocco,” she explained to the media, adding that she began to notice symptoms upon returning home. “Six months after I came back from Morocco, I started doing this talking thing and the swelling thing – it started in July and we are still here trying to figure it out.”
Glanville went on to explain that she could “make up” the parasite on her face, adding that it would move, looking like “tiny bubbles” on her skin.
“What happened? I wish I knew I had been to the hospital, which was ½ years old, and it cost me almost every dollar to try to figure it out,” she wrote in a social media post at the time. “Some doctors say I have a paradise to jump around in my face. Some say it’s stress-induced edema. I personally say it’s brave.”
Last year, Dubro told TMZ He doesn’t believe that Granville has facial parasites. “I saw an interview with her and I saw a picture of her, it was a picture of her swollen, it was a picture of her really being deflated by irregular skin,” he said at the time. “That’s the fact, it’s what Brandi really needs to pay attention to… It’s not her fault, it’s her doctor’s fault. Brandi needs a diagnosis.”

A month later, in January, Glanville shared a video where she was seen trembling obviously while being treated with a visible facial parasite.
“Well, about 5 years ago, I lived in the poisonous house where we lived and had black mold poisoning, we had a six-figure settlement, but that was crazy!” Glanville wrote through X, referring to previous health-related events. “I’m on the drainer that emphasizes. @drdubrow lets us get this f-ker.”
Glanville added in another post that her doctor also took four “tiny biopsies” from her face and neck, “so we can continue to be better.”
On Thursday, Glanville told her fans that she “needed” her life changes, presumably due to a health-related struggle.
She continued: “That’s an update in my real life.”
