An investigation is underway after a popular Boston restaurant was robbed at gunpoint Sunday night, authorities said.
According to Boston Police reports, officers were called to Cava, located at 125 Summer Street in the Midtown District, just after 10:30 p.m. for an armed robbery and spoke with a victim who stated, He was closing the restaurant when an armed suspect confronted him.
The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the area on foot, police said.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident and no injuries were reported.

Cava is a Mediterranean fast-casual chain with more than a dozen locations in Massachusetts.
