“Real-Time” host Bill Maher praised Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom’s “conversion” that made headlines this week for opposing biological men who participated in the women’s movement.
In his new podcast “This is Gavin Newsom,” Newsom found common ground with Turning Point USA founder and conservative Firebrand Charlie Kirk on trans athletes.
“That young man who is about to win state championships in women’s sports, that shouldn’t happen,” Kirk said. “As a governor, you should go out there.
“Well, I think it’s a fair question,” Newsom answered. “I totally agree with you. It’s very unfair.”

Maher welcomes Newsom’s hub on hot ass issues.
“I do like this because I do think he’s a great politician,” Maher responded in the panel discussion. “I know ‘he’s very smooth.’ Yes, he said the same thing to Clinton.
Maher continued, “He said, ‘I had a meeting where people started driving on the table with pronouns. I said, what the hell is it? Why is that the biggest problem?’ Well, Gavin is the same as two weeks ago, that’s your biggest problem, but I don’t care!

Maher, who went on to complain about how President Trump saw it as a “common sense” candidate, then blew up the Senate Democrats, blocked a vote on a bill earlier this week that would ban biological men from participating in women’s sports, despite the fact that “80%” favored the post.
“It’s a mistake,” Mach said.

Maher read in a report from Politico that Newsom’s podcast was inspired by HBO hosts.
