Beverly Hills doctor accused of raping staffer, prosecutor says

A Beverly Hills doctor was accused Monday of drugging and raping a woman who worked for him, and police said there may be other victims.

The doctor allegedly used high hourly wages to lure potential victims to work in his office.

Dr. Babak Hajhosseini was arrested by Los Angeles police on November 26.

Dr. Babak Hajhosseini, founder of the American Wound and Burn Center in Beverly Hills, was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department on Nov. 26 after one of his employees reported that he She committed a sexual assault.

Police said the doctor used recruitment websites to offer potential victims high hourly wages to entice them to work for him. Once they did, police said, Hahoseni forced them to work overtime at his home.

One employee claimed she was forced to drink alcohol at Hajhosseini’s residence and immediately lost consciousness, police said.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Hahoseni sexually assaulted her and recorded it.

On December 23, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office charged Hajhosseini with two counts of drug rape and one count of rape of an unconscious person.

The charges stem from accusations made by one victim, but the LAPD said they believe there are other victims. Police encourage anyone with information to call (213) 473-0047.
