Quebec police regulator investigates police arrest, leading to San Eustache hospitalization

Quebec police regulators are investigating the injury in San Eustache after they were investigated after being injured during their detention on Saturday.

this Earl’s Bureau (BEI) said in a press release released Saturday that it received a 911 call around 8:30 a.m. involving a motorist driving off the road and then running away.

In all cases, the BEI investigates a person, except for the officer on duty, who died, was seriously injured or was injured by a firearm used by the police.

According to the agency, San Istachi police arrived at the scene a few minutes later and pepper sprayed them before arresting them.

It was reported that at 8:50 a.m., the person was taken to the detention center and the person lost consciousness.

Bey said first aid was managed until an ambulance arrived half an hour later. The person was then taken to the hospital in serious cases.

Four BEI investigators have been assigned to investigate the intervention. The agency said there is no other information yet.

Quebec police said they conducted a criminal investigation into the incident but provided no additional details.
