The couple announced their engagement in November 2024 and shared happy news through a joint Instagram post.

Allen proposed under her knee before sunset, one knee swooped, buttoning that showed Steinfeld kissing her new fiancé.
The sports star shared further details of the proposal in the December 2024 edition of Steinfeld’s “Beau Society” newsletter, writing: “I said, ‘I can’t wait.’ I said: “I can’t wait to go.” Build a family with you. “I said your full name and I asked you very well. I said ‘Please.'”

Although they largely kept their romance out of focus, Allen publicly acknowledged his relationship status in August 2023, when asked about his response to a photo with Steinfeld. “The fact that anyone cares about still shocks me,” he said in the “Miss My Take” podcast.
