Arrested after shooting in Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl Parade

A 28-year-old man was taken into custody after being shot and killed in the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl parade.
CBS News Brandon Ramos was reportedly arrested after firing a firearm and wounding two women on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia on Friday, February 14. One of the women reportedly lined up in the bathroom before Ramos pulled the trigger. Ramos was charged with aggravated assault, possessing criminal tools, simple assault and recklessness in endangering another person.
Both women were transferred to Pennsylvania Presbyterian Medical Center and are currently stable.
The shooting happened on Sunday, February 9, when the team celebrated its victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Super Bowl Lix. In 2024, one man was killed and 24 injured after a mass shooting near the Chiefs parade defeated the San Francisco 49ers.
