Andrew Spencer He is opening up his relationship with his father, who recently completed a 23-year prison sentence.
“So this is my father. He just served 23 years in prison. When I was 6 years old, I can say that it has been a while. So many stories like this that I have never walked through why I am, I feel that God has always made me Get through it. I look at my life and it may be completely different.”
Spencer noted that he was “thank you” to his mother and friends and family who “helped to shape who I am.”
“If you are a friend or family member, I emphasize this, keep showing up! You don’t know how much value you add to that person’s life,” Spencer wrote. “My goal has always been to be the greatest father to my future kids. For this, I need them to know that there is forgiveness deep down in me. I look forward to building a relationship.”
Apart from the news, Spencer shares snapshots of him and his father in front of Cloud Gate (aka Bean) in Chicago. Spencer also uploaded the backwards of his family standing in the driveway.
