The stand-up comedian turned his perception of race, sex, and politics into his personal brand, which has caused a lot of controversy throughout his career. Schultz’s inflammatory comedy habits spark shocking celebrity hatred Jimmy Kimmel and Kendrick Lamarhas been causing heated debate on whether his intentional offensive statements crossed a good taste. As Schultz grew his reputation and influence, he has become one of the most controversial characters in comedy today thanks to his Netflix comedy specialty and aired the podcasts “The Brilliant Idiots” and “Blatant.”
After Schultz’s latest Netflix special release Life On March 4, continue to scroll back to his most controversial moments:
Kendrick Lamar
Schultz accidentally found himself involved Drake Lamar’s infamous beef When Lamar appears to have quoted him on the 2024 Diss track without directly naming the comedian. Lamar reportedly was upset by Schulz about what was called the Black Girlfriend Effect in his “blatant” podcast, where he commented on men who were “slapped” by his black girlfriend.
In Lamar GNX He told the audience: “Don’t let white comedians talk about no black women, it’s the law / I know the publicity work for them and F, no matter who is close to them.” Lamar spoke in another verse: “To n- n- n- n- -coon, n — bein”””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””’
Schultz accuses Lamar of advocating violence to hijack his podcast host Charanman and Alex Media With his lyrics of “Fresco”. He spoke on beef Breakfast Club On the March 2025 radio show, he denied that he had any advice on Lamar’s “big bully”.
“I’m thinking, the world is thinking, he’s talking about Charlamagne and Alex Media, these are two handsome black guys in the show, so once you tell people to kill my friends, you get everything I give you.”

He continued: “You don’t tell your fans to kill two of my friends, slides or attacks, you put that energy there, if not serious.
Schultz also criticized Lamar’s fans for accusing him of racism simply because of his beef with hip-hop idols.
“It’s as fun as AF – you, I’ll kick your ass, but now I’m really worried about you because I’m like, ‘Well, he thinks he’s a rational guy.” “Kendrick is a national treasure to win the Pulitzer Prize and I’m going to win more talented awards. You’re fine.”
50 cents
Schultz mentioned Schultz’s controversial joke about sexual assault on Lamar in a December 2024 interview with the “Blatant” podcast.
In his “Glorious Idiot” podcast, Schultz controversially responds to Lamar’s diss track [Kendrick] He can do nothing about it. Just Kendrick Lamar, I’ll love him. The only thing he can do is decide whether to agree or not. ”
50 Cent made these controversial remarks in a face-to-face conversation with Schultz, asking why the comics resorted to posing such a threat.
The rapper asked, “I’m a fan of your job, but I don’t understand what you’re talking about is F-Kendrick.”
50 cents seem to shed light on the situation in the same way, telling Schultz: “It’s been years of trauma from the community I grew up with.”

Despite their differences, 50 cents said it was “crazy” for people to “write petitions” to try to cancel Schultz’s public dispute with Lamar for him.
“Look, I follow the comedian. [comedians]I’m watching, I’m leaving, you don’t have to do something that actually hurts what they’ve developed. ”
Capability
Schulz has been criticized for his usual use of competent language (especially R-word) in his podcasts, comedy habits and promoting his viral editing.
The most notorious example is when Schultz cited R-word when describing the wrong embryo during an IVF journey with his wife Emma Turner. The couple welcomed their son Shiloh Jean Schulz in February 2024.
Schultz was challenged by the host in the March 2025 “Armchair Expert” podcast. Dax Shepard and Monica Padman.
“I can say [the R-word] Because they are my embryos,” Schultz said, “If I had R-embryos, I could do whatever I wanted. They are mine. ”
Padman argues Schulz’s defense is unwise because he doesn’t actually have children with special needs and thus may upset parents who are actually dealing with these issues.
“It depends on how they feel about it,” Schultz retorted. “If they see it, they’re like, ‘Hey, that really hurts me, making me feel very uncomfortable.’ Then, in this personal interaction, I feel sad that someone is hurt.
Jimmy Kimmel
Schultz ends with his recognized comedy hero thanks to Kimmel’s hatred with NFL stars Aaron Rodgers. Kimmel and Rodgers Jimmy Kimmel live broadcast! The host is concerned about the name on Jeffrey Epstein’s flight log. Rogers then clarified that he did not “accused” Kimmel of any connection with the convicted child sex offender.
Schultz advises Kimmel mistakenly perpetuating his hatred with Rogers, and then insists that the late night host will eventually regret what he does with the beef.
“Aaron never said he was on the list,” Schultz told his podcast Charlamagne in January 2024.
Schulz’s opinion on the “Armchair Expert” podcast in March 2025 said Kimmel’s jokes to Rodgers are hypocritical because he often mocks celebrities and politicians in ABC performances.

“I think he started with a joke, and then Aaron joked, and then I think Jimmy got some reality, and I think he had some death threats,” Schultz said. “There were a lot of crazy people out there, and then I was just kidding. His joke answered.
Schulz continued: “Jimmy has always been the one I watch, and he has iconic TV shows, which is a bit disturbing to me.
racism
Schulz talked about the theme of racism in a March 2025 discussion with former NFL star Shannon Sharpe, the “Club Shay Shay” podcast.
The comedian insisted that if they never said “f” to him, he would consider a “corn ball” when he was discussing his joke with his friends.
Does Shaelz’s “Black Friends” feel the same, the comic replied, “Yes…I always say to black people that if white people aren’t like racists around you, then you shouldn’t believe them.”
“If he wasn’t racist around him, because what was he thinking?” Schultz continued. “He’s thinking about more racists here.
Sharp doesn’t seem to get dirty, tells Schultz [those thoughts] To yourself. “Schulz’s “Shay Shay” faces greater opposition on the outside, and critics accused him of a trivial racist smile.
