American Airlines offers new direct flights to Phoenix from Appleton International Airport

Appleton-American will offer new direct flights from Appleton International Airport (ATW) to Phoenix, airport officials announced.

The flight will begin on Saturday and will be extended on Saturday, May 3, according to the airport press release. This will be the 19th direct route provided by Appleton.

In connection with this, Allegiant will resume its seasonal uninterrupted recovery to Georgia, North Carolina/Hilton Head Savannah. The Savannah route will fly twice a week to warm weather destinations from May to May, and then once a week on Saturday, August 12. Allegiant has 12 uninterrupted planes flying to warm weather destinations and will add 30% seats in the first half compared to 2024.

Meanwhile, Weber revealed that record number of passengers flew out and entered Appleton International Airport in 2024, continuing its growth trend for years. The official travel number for 2024 is 1,088,980. The growth of this milestone is up 12.5% ​​from 2023 when serving 967,867 passengers at the airport and 112% increase in traffic since 2015.

The passengers were from outside the Fox Valley, from the Upper Peninsula in Wisconsin and Michigan, Webber said.

Appleton International Airport is served by the United States, Delta, United Airlines and Allegiant Airlines. Other uninterrupted flight destinations include Nashville, Tennessee; various cities in Florida; Atlanta; Denver; and New York/Newark, New Jersey.
