A series of violent confrontations across the United States are believed to be linked to members of a fringe group known as the Zizians, with at least six people dead, including the Border Patrol shot in Vermont, a man stabbed in California and a pair Couple shoots Pennsylvania’s double homicide.

Maryland’s latest arrest has drawn renewed attention to the frivolous case across statewide cases, with prosecutors saying they have taken the group’s leaders into custody on trespassing and weapons charges. Federal agents were shot dead in Vermont.
In January, federal authorities arrested Teresa Youngblut in a confrontation that led to a deadly shooting of the U.S. Border Patrol in Coventry, Virginia.
