As a Texas-born Cuban-American, Spanish is deeply rooted in my culture. However, I didn’t grow up speaking the language, and despite taking multiple Spanish classes throughout my life, including in college, I’ve never been able to get it to stick. In order to better connect with my heritage and prepare for a fast-approaching solo trip to Puerto Rico, I decided to finally dedicate time to learning the language this year with Babbel; and after just a few weeks of using the app, I’ve already been able to brush up on my existing skills and learn new phrases.
If you, too, are ready to master a new language (or two, or three) for life, now’s your chance to do so while the Babbel lifetime subscription is at its lowest price ever. Typically priced at $599, this digital language-learning subscription is just $170 on Stacksocial through Monday, March 31. Use the coupon code “LEARN” before checkout, however, and you’ll unlock an additional $45 off, knocking this deal down to a measly $125.
Babbel Language Learning: Lifetime Subscription (All Languages)
The Babbel Lifetime Subscription is, as the name suggests, an unlimited subscription to the program’s entire collection of language courses with no expiration date, period. While Babbel does offer monthly subscription options, I recommend springing for this lifetime subscription while it’s on sale.
The standard 12-month subscription adds up to $108, a mere $17 less than the lifetime subscription, which you’ll never have to renew or pay again. Learning a new language demands regular practice and time, and with this unlimited subscription, you won’t have the added pressure of trying to rush the courses before your subscription’s end date.
Babbel offers 14 different languages, including Russian, Portuguese, and French, and has a short quiz for each language that helps you find your current skill level, so you can pick up learning the language right where you left off. Since I knew some Spanish, I was able to jump forward to the B1 (Intermediate) level, skipping past the beginner levels without having to learn words and phrases I already knew.

With the Babbel lifetime subscription, you can access course modules and free live instructor-led classes on the Babbel site or through the Babbel app. The app is jam-packed with other learning tools, too, like hands-free audio lessons, and quick grammar guides that explain how to conjugate verbs and use adjectives.
It also features resources that help you listen to and practice real-world conversations. The Podcasts section, for example, has a genius podcast called “Eavesdrop en español” which’s like eavesdropping on a conversation between two Spanish speakers, allowing you to pick up the rhythm and flow of native Spanish speakers. Another cool feature is the app’s AI Conversation Partner, where you can have a pretend conversation with AI to get the hang of common topics and situations, like how to order food at a restaurant, or how to make a doctor’s appointment.
You also don’t have to choose just one language to dedicate yourself to. Babbel lets you learn multiple languages at the same time, pausing and picking up lessons at your own pace. I found this ability to jump between languages especially cool; besides Spanish, I became interested in learning Portuguese after I fell in love with the Portuguese island of Madeira.
My Puerto Rico trip was a mere weeks away when I first started my Babbel subscription, so I needed to brush up on the basics rápidamente. With Babbel, I was able to speed through Spanish units quickly in order to get prepared for my Puerto Rico trip while still slowly taking my time learning Portuguese. And since my lifetime subscription never ends, I plan on using it again and again to learn other languages before future international trips.

I’m not the only one who finds the program to be more effective than other methods. “It is far superior to any of the other language apps I have used,” wrote one five-star reviewer, adding that they’ve learned more in two weeks with Babbel than they had in three years with a competitor language learning program.
Another reviewer wanted to brush up on their Spanish in order to get a leg up on their career. “The exercises are straightforward and give you plenty of chances to practice each new lesson,” they wrote. “If you’re on the fence, get Babbel on sale!”
¿Estás listo para aprender otro idioma? If you’re looking to expand your linguistic horizons, Babbel is the way to go, especially now that it’s on sale for just $125. Click here to learn a new language for life when you use the coupon code “LEARN” at checkout. Hurry, though: This deal ends on Monday, March 31.
