NFL fans mock Eagles player Kenny Pickett for weird play that resulted in fumble

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Kenny Pickett brought laughter to NFL fans during the team’s game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

The two sides were tied at 7. With about 12 minutes left in the first half, Pickett dropped back to shoot, but did not make a shot. He took a step forward as if to throw the ball, but he caught the football. He followed it up like a pass, but the ball never left his hands.

Pickett fell to the ground without being knocked down and the ball came out of his hands. Fortunately, Eagles running back Saquon Barkley arrived in time to recover the ball.

NFL fans immediately called it the worst game they had ever seen.

At the end of the first half, Pickett had the last laugh. He threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to DeVonta Smith with 6:38 left in the half and then carried the ball from the goal line into the end zone as half time expired.
