Carnival Cruise Line Director Reveals Christmas Celebrations

Typically, when you see Carnival Cruise Line Director Kyndall “Fire” Magyar, she’s standing in front of passengers, leading them through fun activities. During the Christmas season, however, the leader of the Carnival Jubilee “Joy Boat” mixes her time between passengers and caring for the crew.

During the festival, Carnival hosts several events to celebrate the crew. This is a particular challenge because the flights during the holiday week are full with even more children than usual.

This means already busy staff have less free time to attend festive gatherings. However, cruise lines do their best to create something special for passengers and crew.

“We had a very happy Christmas this year,” Magyar shared on her Instagram page.

Highlights include:

  • Enjoy a team breakfast at Emeril’s
  • Adele came to spend an afternoon on the boat
  • Anniversary family lunch
  • holiday show
  • Fun Squad White Elephant Gift Exchange

And, although it was Aguiar’s friend Adele and not the famous singer who boarded the plane, the incident she shared showed that the crew and passengers seemed to be sharing in the Christmas/holiday spirit.

“Every evening during Hanukkah, services including prayers and songs will be held at sunset in the Atrium Lobby,” the cruise line shared on its website.
