Dorchester man arrested with 300 grams of cocaine and fentanyl
On Monday, December 23, police arrested a Dorchester man and charged him with multiple drug trafficking offences.
At 9:15 a.m., police served search warrants at 220 Hamilton Street, 10 Michigan Avenue and a traffic stop at 314 Bowden Street.
This is part of the ongoing investigation into Martin Alcantara, 41, of Dorchester.
His vehicle was discovered following a traffic stop at 314 Bowden Street in Alcantara. Officers found:

Alcantara had two plastic baggies containing fentanyl hidden in his mouth.

Hidden in his underwear was a plastic bag containing fentanyl.

Loose cocaine was found in his wallet
In addition, additional quantities of fentanyl and cocaine, packaging and shipping materials and an undisclosed sum were found at the two homes that were searched.
Alcantara was detained and charged with:

Trafficking in Fentanyl (100 grams or more, less than 200 grams)

Trafficking in cocaine (200 grams or more)

Possession of Class B substance with intent to distribute
Alcantara is expected to appear in Dorchester District Court.
