Republicans slam federal death row probation before Biden leaves office

Republicans criticized President Joe Biden for being “soft on crime” after the White House announced his decision to commute the sentences of nearly all inmates on federal death row.

While Republicans expressed their displeasure, Biden’s announcement was celebrated by some Democrats.
