Our favourite spring decor from members of The List by House & Garden

Spring is here, and if you’re anything like us, the warmer weather and longer days are making you want to refresh your interiors. It’s the perfect time to incorporate some joyful, colourful pieces into your schemes, and fortunately the designers and makers on The List by House & Garden have got some beautiful things on offer. Here are our most desired pieces for the new season, from brand new rugs in sunshiney colours to sweet floral cushions for brightening up your sofa.
Yellow and sky blue are always spring-like colours, but this year they’re having a particular moment, and we’re seeing accessories (and walls) in these shades popping up all over the magazine’s pages and our members’ projects. Rug designer Pelican House’s new collaboration with tastemaker Lucy Williams has produced some truly heavenly rug designs, including the ‘Nisi’ rug below, which the team is all dying to get their hands on, while the glossy ‘Ming’ side table by The Lacquer Company is the perfect accent to perk up a living room.
Still on the sky-blue theme, we really adore it when it’s paired with burgundy hues, as in the sweet Tiffany Wave light by Beauvamp below. Elsewhere we’re delighted by patterns which remind us of how much is growing outside, from these amazing painted napkin designs by Bertioli featuring flourishing radishes (and plenty of other veg if you peruse the entire collection) to a sweet new frilly cushion from Alice Palmer.
For a warm, Mediterranean scheme, you can’t go wrong with terracotta. Jennifer Manners has created the perfect terracotta for her ‘Jacqueline’ rug, which would make an earthy base for a scheme with blue and ochre shades. Rechargeable lamps are the must-have accessory for your house right now, and this glossy blue bobbin number from Addison Ross is just charming. Use it in the same space as a more traditional lamp with a stripey shade, such as Imogen Pope’s sweet version, and you can’t go wrong.
