CNN denies changes, video raiding Cassie Ventura with destroying Sean “Diddy” comb

Sean “Didy” comb’s defense accused CNN of changing and destroying a video showing the rapper physically beating his ex-girlfriend.

Hotel surveillance video released last May showed a physical dispute between comb and Cassie Ventura. While video brings a comb defense in his federal sex trafficking trial, the rapper of “I Will Miss You” now claims it has been “substantially changed.”

“The defense confirmed that all CNN video recordings have changed dramatically through forensic video analysis of the CNN video provided by the government to this court and the video provided by CNN in response to the defense subpoena,” a letter filed by COMBS’s legal team in court Thursday, written by Fox News Digital Digital. “This includes covering timestamps and then changing the video sequence. It also includes speeding up the video so that the action in the video happens faster than they do. As a result, CNN videos are not fair and accurately describe the issues about the event.”

“Ultimately, the defense confirmed that CNN purchased the only known copy of the hotel surveillance lens, uploaded the lens to a free editing software, changed the video; and then destroyed the original lens, even though it knew and repeatedly reported the federal investigation.”

CNN denied the allegations, noting that the original copy still exists.

Six months after resolving Cassie’s sexual abuse lawsuit, Didi apologized for the actions in the video.

“I’m unforgivable for the behavior of the video,” Combs said in a statement shared on social media after the video aired. “I took full responsibility for the behavior of that video. Combs is currently behind jail while awaiting trial. Judge Arun Subramanian plans to begin the rapper’s trial on May 5. Prosecutors expect the government’s case to take six weeks to lay out, while Didi’s legal team now estimates it will take two weeks to argue the rapper’s defense.
