The House decided on Thursday to condemn Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, during a joint speech by Donald Trump to Congress on Tuesday. Ten Democrats voted with Republicans to condemn Green, throwing the room into chaos as most House Democrats gathered to sing “We Will Overcome.”
R-la. Speaker Mike Johnson was eventually forced to gather the house after trying to regain control.

After the outbreak, Ogles proposed a resolution showing that Democrats who participated in the protests were deprived of commission tasks – Jeffries’ move said: “There’s nowhere to go.”
Jeffries said he learned about Ogles’ resolution after a call with New York Attorney General Letitia James.
The leading Democrat said in a video on X: “The resolution is everywhere. You won’t drop any committee. These people are vicious clowns.
Dems throws the house into chaos after 10 moderates join the Republican Party to punish Al Green
“Every Democrat who disobeys the Speaker’s orders and keeps good committees needed,” Ogles told Fox News Digital in a brief interview Thursday.
He also said that while they can “lick the wound” and “behave like a child,” they must “act on the floor of the House.”

“We can disagree on issues and politics, but we will respect each other and I’m tired of this nonsense,” he said.
