Three people arrested after discovering cocaine at home in Athens

Three people were arrested after police signed a search warrant at their home in Athens and found fentanyl and cocaine.

On February 26, the Northeast Georgia Regional Drug Task Force served the arrest warrant in the 100 block of Bedford Avenue in Athens.

Deborah Lumpkin, 66, allowed the suspect, Quincy Brooks, 47, to distribute fentanyl from his home, officials said.

Lumpkin, Brooks and Christian “Christi” Lumpkin, 35, were detained.

Police found fentanyl, cocaine and Schedule IV drugs found at home.

Brooks is charged with possession of fentanyl intent to be distributed, intent to be distributed cocaine, and Schedule IV intent to be distributed.

Deborah and Christian Lumpkin were both arrested on excellent arrest warrants.
