As Kelly, 32, explained on her podcast “Not Gonna Lie” on Thursday, December 12, she’ll always be leveraging her online stalking abilities.
“We’ve gotten to the point where we’re almost stalking people on social media just to ask, ‘Have you posted with a woman lately?’ If so, we’ll go to her page,” she admits. “If her page is private, we’ll ask before following, but otherwise, if she’s public, we can see you’re still together. We can just slide into your DMs and say ‘Hey, welcome.
Jason spent his entire eight-year career in Philadelphia, and eventually, Kelly realized she was the oldest and most experienced of all the players’ wives and girlfriends. That’s when she reaches out to new players’ significant others and offers help adjusting to life in their new city.
She explains that this is much more effective than simply having Jason ask his teammates for the phone numbers of their significant others. Kelly joked that if she did, she wouldn’t get an answer for “three years.” her guests, Alison Kuharczykthe wife of a former NFL defensive end Isaac Rocher,agree.
“At the end of football season, you’ll find phone numbers in a pile of shoes or something,” Kucharczyk joked.
Kelly continued, “We do find that the best way is to just say, ‘Hey, if you need anything, we’re here year-round. If there’s anything I can help with or [anything] If you need advice, even if it’s just a restaurant recommendation, please let me know.
Her helping hand did not go unnoticed. Kucharczyk said wives like Kelly are doing “God’s work” when reaching out to new people. This is especially true for Kucharczyk, whose husband played in four cities from 2017 to 2023.

“I have to say on behalf of all the girls who have been to different teams, people like you make the experience better and less lonely,” she said.
Jason retires from the NFL in 2022, and Kelly said she hopes her wife and girlfriend who remain in the league can carry on the tradition. She added that even if a player is traded, someone from the player’s old team can keep a significant other connected to someone on the new team so they don’t have to start from scratch every step of the way.
“There’s a very large network of women in the NFL, and I think the best thing they can do right now is continue to weave that network and make sure women feel supported and connected and can do that independently outside of a spouse or significant other. To this point,” she said.
Today, Kelly and Jason continue to live in the Philadelphia area in their retirement years. The two married in 2018 and have three daughters: Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 1. The couple’s fourth child is also a girl.
