February 22 – Isabel Padilla Isabel Padilla, 96, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025. There are also two great-grandchildren, Kayden and Jakob Montoya. Her five children survived: Gloria Padilla-Carlson, Priscilla Padilla-Griego (Ernie), Roger Padilla, Angelina Padilla (Anna) and Rita Lucero (Frank). Isabel has nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She also has a nephew, Alejandro Encinias, who survived. There are so many nieces, Isabel Garcia and dear friends. Isabel was born on Saturday, June 16, 1928 in La Liendre, New Mexico. Isabel worked at APS for many years and formed a constant friendship. Her joy with her family and friends is unparalleled. Until the end, Isabel looked forward to every social gathering, and she never met a stranger who hadn’t become friends. On Monday, February 24, 2025, the visit will be held at 5:00 pm in France-Lomas, followed by a rosary at 6:00 pm. Jimmy Padilla, a member of Jimmy Padilla, will lead the Rosary. A funeral will be held at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd NE on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, followed by a reception at St. Bernadette Parish Hall.
