Protesters target Elon Musk’s cost-cutting Tesla showroom

Protesters gathered outside Tesla showrooms across the United States on Saturday to oppose sharp cuts by President Donald Trump’s billionaire adviser Elon Musk, which imposed a federal government.

Organizers cite 37 protests nationwide as part of an effort coordinated through social media hashtags #Teslatakedown and #Teslatakover.

Musk’s auto companies are becoming the target of political outrage in the United States and Europe to deal with the huge influence of billionaires in the White House.

Musk planned the firing of thousands of civil servants through the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and received sensitive U.S. Treasury payments.
