Jennifer Love Hewitt ‘terrified’ daughter will see past make out scenes and ‘cringe’

Jennifer Love Hewitt is launching her Hollywood career over the holidays.

The “Holiday Crush” star spoke to Fox News Digital about her long acting career, including her special guest appearance on “Boy Meets World.”

“It’s so funny… I love Will so much. He’s like the best boyfriend ever. He’s so sweet. The cast is great,” Hewitt said of her relationship with one of the show’s stars Said Will Friedell during the unforgettable make-out scene. Friedell plays the role of Ben Savages, Corey’s brother.

Friedel and Hewitt were dating in real life when she appeared in season five’s “And Then There Were Sean.”

“I was very nervous because… it’s a comedy and I haven’t really guest-starred in a lot of stuff… I wanted to make him proud. I didn’t want to get fired, but I wanted to do a good job.”

Hewitt played Jennifer Love “Fifi” Fefferman on the 1998 series, and the two had an intense make-out scene on the “Pod Meets World” podcast that Friedel called “intense ” and “uncomfortable”.

“I don’t remember it going that far… it was really like, ‘Wow, this is uncomfortable,'” Friedel, the show’s star, Danielle, said on the podcast Fisher and Ryder Strong rewatch and discuss the iconic series.

“It was so intense, someone even said to me, ‘Oh, I didn’t realize you guys were together when I was a kid.'” So, like, what the hell is going on? [had] Information about the seven years of the show is in the hallway. Then kissing her neck etc while she was trying to talk like we hadn’t said our names yet. Very intense.

While Hewitt detailed the intimate scene on “Boy Meets World” to Fox News Digital, she admitted she was more worried about what her daughters would think.

“We worked really hard to do that in this makeout, for sure,” she added. “My daughter is watching Girl Meets World right now, and I always worry that she’s going to want to watch Boy Meets World…and then she sees my character Jennifer Love Fefferman making out on a bookshelf and she’s like, Like this ‘Mom, this is so embarrassing.

Meanwhile, Hewitt’s daughters also followed in their mother’s acting footsteps and participated in the heartwarming Christmas movie “Holiday Crush.”

The One Life movie, directed by Hewitt, is her first Christmas movie and focuses on her character Andy who runs a holiday decorating and planning services company.

Hewitt’s character spends the holidays during a difficult time following the death of his mother. Although her character faces a tough time, her spirits are lifted when she discovers an unexpected Christmas romance.

Hewitt’s mother died in real life, and “Holiday Crush” holds sentimental value for the actress as it honors her late mother.

Hewitt’s on-screen love story is played by her real-life husband Brian Hallisay. The couple first met on the set of Lifetime’s Love Bites and tied the knot in November 2013. Autumn, 11, Atticus, 9, and Aidan, 3.

The “9-1-1” star admitted there are some challenges working with her husband.

“The biggest challenge for us is who’s going to take care of our kids because we’re involved in everything. So, we’re pretty panicked about it,” Hewitt explained to Fox News Digital.

Hewitt said they helped with childcare while they worked on set. She added that she was grateful for her 11-year marriage to her husband.

“It’s not often that you get paid to fall in love with your husband all over again. I actually did, and that picture of me staring at him in front of the monitor, I really found myself like, ‘Wow, this is mine. Work. So I actually ended the movie…loving him more than when we started…it’s a nice little gift, 11 years later.

Jennifer Love Hewitt explains why watching ‘pimple popping videos’ helps her prepare for emotional scenes

The “Ghost Whisperer” star told Fox News Digital that her 11-year-old daughter just received her Screen Actors Guild card, the same age Hewitt received hers.

As for her horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer, her children had humorous reactions to their mother’s role.

“They loved it…she thought it was really cool that my character didn’t die,” Hewitt said with a laugh.

She said her daughter “was like, ‘I’m really proud of you, Mom… you made it.'”

Hewitt also admitted that random people yelling out her iconic line from the movie: “What are you waiting for, huh?” stuck with her.

She explained that fans would randomly yell at her from across the street.

Hewitt, who has been acting since she was a child, told Fox News Digital what advice she would give to her younger self.

“I’ve always been a worrier,” she said. “I’m just always worried… I’m having fun at work, and [thought] This will be my last, or… people will kick me out of Hollywood and stop letting me act.
