The last two words message from Texas death row inmates to victims’ family before execution
A remorseful death row inmate begged for forgiveness and sent out the last message before being sent to death in Texas 20 years after he killed the strip club manager and another man.
Richard Lee Taber, 46, also admitted to killing two teenage dancers at the club and said he found God in his two decades in prison.

During the sentencing phase of the trial, prosecutors introduced Taber’s written and video statements, saying he killed Dotson and Benefield because he was worried they would tell people that he killed them.
Taber has repeatedly asked the court to stop appealing and allow him to be executed. His lawyer questioned whether he was mentally capable.
