Black box multimediaValentine’s Day is coming soon us – and Lucien Laviscount Sharing why his new movie This time next year It is the perfect watch for the annual Love Day.
“It’s someone that two people have to find each other,” Laviscount, 32, told US Weekly Only. “And I think no matter what someone goes through in a relationship, there is always room for each other to grow and allow each other to grow. I think anyone with a watch will have a smiling face.”
Laviscount plays Quinn in romantic comedy – This is based on the novel Sophie Cousens Available now on the Roku channel – a business giant in his 20s caring for his psychopath (Golda Rosheuvel). He meets the frustrating Minnie (Sophie Cookson) on New Year’s Eve. The two soon realized that they were a minute apart in the same hospital and formed a friendship. But as their bond grew deeper, they were forced to reassess if they weren’t just platonic.
Laviscount – After standing out in three seasons, he is proficient in the world of Rom-Com Emily in Paris – This is one of the undeniable outstanding figures of the project, and the actor believes that magic is also in the director Nick Mooreedited his two “favorite classics” people Love is actually and Notting Hill.
“He’s the OG in my eyes,” Laviscount poured out. “I think that’s most of the movies that people forget in editing. Everything that happens on the dance floor, happens on the dance floor. But on that cutting table, it’s when a movie really comes to life. So, being able to go with It’s incredible that Nick works together and he just knows what he wants and where he’s going to.”
Laviscount said he “never worked” with a director who had such a clear vision before. As it turns out, the background is not too shabby. “We filmed most of it in Rome,” he explained. “Rome is London, which is crazy in itself, but beautiful.”
This time next year There are all the puzzles that can appeal to any rom-com lover, but for Laviscount, how complicated the character of Quinn is. His life is much more interesting than being the protagonist’s love.

“The process for me is really [Quinn’s] Relationship with mom and anything. “He tells us. “And his motivation at work, his ruthlessness in finding what’s important in life and being able to share life with someone and have someone who can share his weight with him. ”
There is much more to mention about Quinn and Minnie (like Cooper), and also delve into the idea of accidentality and believe that the two will collide at the right time.
“It’s just doing a great job in the script and in the book, too, how they find each other,” Laviscount said. “They literally touch each other. He opens the toilet door. It’s really fun. I think a lot of movies love from first sight In the sense that it is “it’s just love”. [two] They are really dealing with their own problems, they have a lot of housekeeping to figure out before they can live completely with each other. ”
But did Emily, a romantic fantasy in Paris, play one of the titular characters’ love interests, helping him prepare for Quinn’s role?
“I think it helps me get a quote. I’ll tell you,” Laviscount said with a smile. “I think it certainly helps.”
But as for their core, Aflie and Quinn are no longer different. “I’ll approach [Quinn] The difference is,” Laviscount continued. “This character, he deals with a lot of things at home with his mother. He has been her caregiver for a long time and he has put himself on a lot of things. Instead of Alfie just left the country and ran away with a sad girl. ”
There is another difference: “I’ve been for this girl [movie],Very good. ”
This time next year You can now watch it on the Roku channel.
