Kabul’s minister killed 1 person and injured 3 people
A spokesman said Thursday that an explosion at a government ministry compound in Kabul killed one person and three others were injured.
Mohammad Kamal Afghan, spokesman for the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing, said a man attempted to conduct an attack within the compound but was killed by the guards before reaching the target.
The spokesman said that the explosion caused casualties due to the incident. He did not clarify the source of the explosion, nor provided more details.

No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attempted attack.
At least five people were killed on Tuesday, seven of whom were injured in a bomb attack near a bank in Kunduz, the northern province. The Islamic State Group later claimed responsibility for the attack, although they gave higher casualties.
