Philadelphia City Superintendent warns Hawks fans in Sep’s back bowl lix antics: “Don’t climb the light or anything else”
Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker has warned Hawk fans that at least one person died and several were injured in a separate incident at their post-match bowl Lix celebration.
The Hawks will be in contact with the Kansas City Chiefs in a Super Bowl LVII rematch Sunday night. Philadelphia officials have made it clear that they are ready to get revelers to take to the streets after the game is over. Parker warned fans not to climb the city’s light pole.

“Don’t climb the ray poles or anything,” she said Friday through Fox 29 Philadelphia. “Please, Philadelphia, I beg you to be your mayor and don’t climb the ray poles or anything.”
She added that climbing on any type of structure or fixture can “cause tragedy.”
