MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow mocked the Trump administration’s move to remove mentions about diversity, equity and inclusion programs from federal websites, but they inadvertently resulted in some completely unrelated pages being scaled back by Nix, Just because they contain these words in different contexts.
In one example, McDonald noted that a tax manual was reportedly removed, which mentioned “ tolerate Taxpayer ID number in a specific form. “
Maddow proposed “particularly stupid ways”, with some of the Trump staff’s actions having two outcomes.
“It weakens the atmosphere of intimidation and omnipotence that they try to use to try to go,” she explained. “I mean, it doesn’t mean they don’t have the worst and most malicious intentions. They obviously did it.” But it’s a deceptive fact that they’re just not that good at anything they’re trying to do.”
She said their “silly level is because they are stupid and therefore the benefits of making us less threatened.” Secondly, Maddow believes it “has benefits that also contribute to people.”
