Colorado’s Deion Sanders sends message to players looking to join team in transfer portal

Several college football stars have announced they will enter the transfer portal in hopes of finding a better opportunity at another school — whether that means playing in a national championship, getting a better NIL contract or increasing their chances of playing professionally.
Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders often uses the transfer portal to bolster his roster, and he has a message for anyone who decides to join the fight.

Colorado had a quiet but great season in Sanders’ second year. Colorado goes from four wins in 2023 to nine wins in 2024. Buffalo is coming off its first 10-win season in 2016 under Mike MacIntyre.
Since 2000, the team has only had two 10-win seasons.
Colorado State will face BYU in the Alamo Bowl.
Sanders said late last month that the team’s best players will be in the bowl game.
