Kelly Osbourne slams celebrities for taking advantage of LA fires for ‘photo ops’

Kelly Osbourne is calling out celebrities she believes are using the Los Angeles wildfires to gain personal attention.
While Osbourne, 40, didn’t mention anyone by name, she slammed the “disturbing” trend of celebrities continuing to post about how they’re helping victims of the wildfires, which have killed 25 people so far.
“Is this just my normal overthinking, cynical self, or is it really disturbing to see all these celebrities using other people’s pain and suffering as photo opportunities to say, look, I’m helping, I’m doing this. ? she asked in a video posted via TikTok on Tuesday, January 14th.
“I don’t believe you’re helping because you’re getting noticed for helping, I believe you’re just helping because you want to help. I’m confused and I think it’s very wrong,” she continued. “No one asked you to come out for a hug. Go home.”
Kelly’s comments come as celebrities around the world donate time and money to wildfire relief efforts. Many people do this publicly, sharing photos and videos of themselves volunteering.
