Tyler Perry Slammed insurance companies for implementing policy changes ahead of wildfires that devastated the greater Los Angeles area.

“It breaks my heart to watch my daughter using a garden hose trying to protect her 90 year old parents’ home because their insurance was canceled,” Perry wrote on Instagram on Sunday, January 12.

“Does anyone else find it shocking that insurance companies can take billions of dollars from communities for years and then suddenly be allowed to cancel millions of policies on the very people they enriched?” Filmmaker continued. “People who have paid premiums their entire lives are left with nothing because of sheer greed.”

“As I’m trying to figure out what steps to take to help as many people as I can, I’m praying for everyone,” he concluded.
