California mom speaks out as she confronts Newsom over wildfire response

A California mom confronts Gov. Gavin Newsom over his response devastating wildfires A Los Angeles County firefighter called in to clear the scene and fix the problem so residents can begin dealing with the aftermath of the fire.

Rachel Darvish ran toward Newsome as he was getting into a black SUV and explained that her daughter’s school had been destroyed.

“Please tell me what you’re going to do,” attorney Darwish said.

Newsom replied He tried to contact President Biden so he could figure out what they could do to help Darvish and her daughter.

“Can I hear it? Can I hear your call? Because I don’t believe it,” she responded. Newsom pointed to his cell phone and claimed he had poor cell service and was unable to reach the president.

Darvish said Thursday on “Jesse Waters Primetime” that she wants to believe Newsom is telling the truth. Get in touch with Biden.

“I really want to believe him. I really want to believe it, and there’s no cell phone coverage in certain areas, okay? But that’s a big problem in itself. Why doesn’t he have a satellite truck with a cell phone?” she asked .

Biden met with Newsom on Wednesday and was briefed on the multiple fires in California.

President approves major disaster declaration for Golden State, announced Thursday federal government “100%” of wildfire-related disaster relief costs will be paid for 180 days.

Darvish said there have been fires in Pacific Palisades historically, but he’s not sure why the response was slow.

“When I got the notification of the fire, I walked out of the house, packed my things and left because the fire was there. On my way downstairs, I didn’t see a fire truck coming to help me,” she told me. Host Jesse Waters.

She added that it was not the firefighters’ fault because the order “came from the top.”

As for Newsom, she said: “Governor, can you clean this up? fix it and continue? At least, that’s what I’d like to see. But will it happen? I have no idea. You know, what these people do is ingrained.
