Hailey BieberThe 58-year-old father is the first star to leave the Fox show, which premieres on Wednesday, January 8, which brings together a diverse cast of celebrities to try to get through a training exercise led by a team of former Special Forces agents. The third series takes place in North Wales and stars bachelor Stephen Trista Sartre and Ari Fedotovsky, Brody Jenner, Denise Richards etc.
“I’m the youngest Baldwin brother. I’m an actor,” Stephen told the camera. “I trained twice with a military technical advisor. Was I a special forces soldier? No, but I did one on TV.
In the first mission, 16 celebrities had to jump from a speeding ship onto a speeding helicopter and then climb aboard – and Stephen was actually one of eight actors able to complete the challenge. However, before the episode ended, the actor, fearing he was injured, called the on-call doctor for medical attention.
“I hit my meniscus in a helicopter today and my back is in knots and I can’t turn my head over there,” Stephen said before the doctor asked if he wanted to check his knee.
Things then take some strange turns as Stephen becomes hostile. “At this point, it really doesn’t matter,” Stephen said before asking the doctor, “Are you getting paid to do this?”
“I’m curious – if you got another gig after this one that paid 10 times what they paid you, you know, would you do it?” he continued. When the doctor responded that he was unsure “how this conversation was going to go” because he thought Stephen wanted a medical consultation, Stephen declared that he had “a decision to make.”
“Well, what’s your decision?” the doctor asked.
“I had a show after this. One condition of that show was that I didn’t get hurt. It wasn’t worth it to me. It wasn’t worth going to the hospital for weeks,” Stephen said.
When the doctor asked Stephen if he knew the type of tasks in the show, he replied: “Yes, but I don’t know that I will definitely get hurt.” Stephen then appeared agitated and louder, repeating twice: “I can’t Injuried.”
When the doctors filled in the “staff” (aka the ex-Special Forces agents who host the show), they said they believed Stephen was looking for “excuses” and subsequently fired him from the show, saying: “No. 5. You If you fail the class, you will fail yourself.
A voiceover later confirms: “Just one day into tryouts, actor Stephen Baldwin became the first recruit to leave the class.”
Stephen has previously worked with US Weekly Regarding his time filming the show, it was noted that he encountered “multiple breaking points” during production.
“I had some challenges dealing with asthma, but it quickly became very real,” he said.
