Second fire breaks out in Pasadena amid strong Santa Ana winds

As firefighters battled a fast-moving brush fire in Pacific Palisades, a second fire broke out in nearby Pasadena.

Two fires forced more than 30,000 people to flee their homes. An estimated 200 acres are burning in the Pasadena area as warriors battle the Eaton Fire. Eaton firefighters are pushing for evacuations as the fire continues to spread.

Strong winds in Santa Ana grounded aerial firefighting aircraft, preventing them from flying and hampering aerial water bombing efforts.
