At first, I was disappointed with how different this prequel was from fury roadbut after rewatching it on Netflix, I decided Furiosa is a flawed masterpiece.

That’s a shame, although it took me a while to realize it. Let’s be honest: I was one of the many Mad Max fans who was disappointed with this prequel because it was so different from the prequels fury roadwhile I was expecting another non-stop, high-octane car chase, it delivered a sprawling, character-focused origin story. once i saw Furiosa On Netflix, I realized I is the problem. While director George Miller clearly wants to return to the ambitious world-building he first put into Fury Road, I don’t think this movie is a remake of Fury Road. Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.

However, if you were looking forward to Fury Road: The Prequel, you might echo Immortan Joe and call the movie “Mediocre!”
