80s fantasy adventure with rock icons takes you to a weird and exciting place to stream

mazeor I like to call it, Dance with puppetscurrently streaming on Tubi, I feel like I should have watched exciting music fantasies long ago, but once you have something in mind, it’s actually boring. Fantasy adventure doesn’t require much to attract attention beyond your production value, but rather an absolutely necessary premise that I don’t think exists. maze, It’s the protagonist who looks like he wants There…You know, in a lifetime of adventure.
David Bowie knew what he had when he signed on to portray the goblin king Jareth, and he had the groove and took action to prove it. But I can’t say the same to Jennifer Connelly’s Sarah Williams, who worked so unenthusiastic in the realm of titular fantasy that you wonder if she even wanted to save her half-brother for her half-brother, or for noble reasons, or she was just afraid to get into trouble with her parents who accidentally expelled her baby and was kidnapped by goblins.
This happens, and then it happens, and then…
The strongest character maze It is the actual landscape itself, as there are so many personalities in each frame that makes it clear how much thought and care are thought about in this relaxed and pleasant picture of Jim Henson.
But for every amazing build-up shot and incredibly detailed suite, we meet Sarah, who doesn’t seem to realize the seriousness of what she’s doing, first by driving her out into Jareth’s maze.
Here is a short version of what happened in 101 minutes:
Sarah is angry that she has to take care of her half-brother, Toby Froud, and the aggravation becomes even more noticeable when she learns that she has mastered her beloved teddy bear Lancelot.
Sarah hopes Toby can be taken away by the Goblin. Toby was taken away by a goblin. Jareth, the goblin king, drives Sarah to his mysterious land and tells her she has 13 hours to solve his maze, or Toby will become a goblin.
Sarah encounters an interesting puppet character, like a deceptive and morally questionable dwarf named Hoggle (Brian Henson), a big beast named Ludo (Ron Mueck), a fox dog (Ron Mueck), his dog (David Shaughnessy) and his dog (Percy Edwards) laughing at her company, while they go back and forth along his dog’s head to many companions Toby.
That’s it. That’s the whole plot maze.
Jareth has style, but he has few threatening opponents
David Bowie is obviously fun at work maze With his portrayal of Jareth, he lacks some of the X-factors that make him a true villain. Of course, he basically kidnapped Toby, but wasn’t that what Sarah asked for? It seems to me that this is hardly a prosecution of his character, because he just shows up when he is asked.

I mean, he’s a little sinister because he’s friendly and happy when telling Sarah that it’s in danger, which is in stark contrast to Bedlam who actually plays in his maze, but I always wonder if Bowie is just more cynical, fanatical, crazy, fanatical, and all of them are getting more radical in his delivery. maze It’s definitely worth watching, but I think it would be a memorable movie if it’s possible to get even more frightening and approached more enthusiastically by its main protagonist Sarah. But, due to its value, David Bowie, in his full Jareth Garb, makes him look like he’s dressed up as a seagull like a pirate, while defeating “Magic Dance” with Verve and Topleve, always bringing me back because of how I promised his character – even if I feel that it’s hard for his character to be like him and hard for small things like that.
