4 countries standoff: Trudeau sends us hot messages after Canada wins

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sent a fiery message to the United States on Thursday night as his country won a four-country standoff in an overtime thriller.

The match took place in a political clash between Trudeau and President Donald Trump as U.S. world leaders mocked Canadian lawmakers for becoming its “51st state” for the country. Trump also publicly called Trudeau the “governor” of Canada. Thursday before the game begins.
He posted on X: “You can’t take our country – you can’t accept our game.”
Politics penetrated hockey earlier this month, with NHL and NBA fans booing the “Stars and Stripes”.

The booing continued until four countries confronted, and it climaxed in a round of fists in the first match between the United States and Canada. Three battles took place just 9 seconds after Canadian fans held the national anthem in Montreal.
The United States was able to win that game.
Canadian fans drowned out the booed “Canada O” as they sang in TD Garden. American fans followed up on their singing of the national anthem.
